Florida LLC Registered Agent

All companies doing business in Florida are required to have a Registered Agent. The Registered Agent receives all legal mail (service of process) and official mail from the state.

For instance, if someone decides to sue your company, the process server would deliver the notice to your Registered Agent. It is required that the Registered Agent be at the listed Registered Agent's address during business hours.

There are firms that act as Registered Agents that you can employ to do this service for you or you can use a member of your LLC to act as the Registered Agent.
